SAFe6 is a game changer .. essential in current business world!

With the arrival of disruptive innovations and transformations, big enterprises are forced to become agile, lean and efficient to match the deliveries of startups. Customer centricity and continuous value addition dictates the retention of customers.
Enterprises, startups and established firms are now forced to align with data driven, value based, agile and lean approaches for efficient operations and systems in the organization, that deliver value to the stakeholders; internal and external.
Applying knowledge earned in previous project executions and continuous data driven adjustments have matured the systems to be efficient and lean striving for cumulative value addition to customers.
SAFe framework has matured over years and the recent SAFe6 framework is a big leap over previous SAFe 5.1, making it a favorite of enterprises, agilists and startups.
In fact, large enterprises can transform to “Startup like” focused, value based and customer centric lean, agile, efficient and economically viable units by implementing SAFe6 methodologies and frameworks. With arrival of AI and “productization of services”, SAFe6 framework is a giant step in enterprise operations, executions, strategic implementations and high end value driven Consulting assignments.
SAFe6 encompasses customer centric value driven approach using integrated tools for agility and efficiency: with cross functional teams, value based uninterrupted flow of deliverables, application of tools and methodologies like Design Thinking, Lean Six Sigma, Kanban, Scrum and Project Management. This is applied to both, the Development and Operations domains that creates value for internal as well as external stakeholders.
Over last 25 years we have moved from Program — Project Management that was “People independent process driven” to “People valued Solution creation that is process and data driven”
In the world where productization in the name of the game, services have to be approached as products and managed like products. Product Management is the new way of managing businesses from Strategic consulting, Operations, Development or Manufacturing. “Solutions” with value are the key objectives for stakeholders. As I fall in love with SAFe6 framework, I realize that the critical asset for the practitioner is the need to imbibe the “mindset”, internalize the key guidelines that eventually, reflexively transcribes into very practical and logical steps at every level of business and solution development.

Its simply a way of thinking and analyzing, with its own integrated jargon of using “Planning Intervals”, “EPICs”, “ARTs”, “Features” and “Stories” where, the principles of PM, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Scrum, Kanban and design thinking are selectively utilized based on the need of the “Project”.

To me SAFe6 is the art of executing “Solution” efficiently, effectively and economically, in a scientific measurable way!

I am all in for SAFe6 framework for its robustness that can be applied and scaled from routine daily chores to small projects to growing enterprises. To me, it integrates the business operations, strategic consulting and applied knowledge/wisdom towards value creation, for stakeholders: customers, employees and enterprises .. A Win-Win approach.
